Digital Tools and Content for Texas Schools

As an entrepreneur/consultant and former assistant superintendent
(Round Rock ISD) and former director of curriculum (Austin ISD), I must say HB
4294 is the most exciting, promising legislation I have seen in a long
time.  Finally, Texas
students and teachers will have access to 21^st century tools and
standards-based content.  Boards of trustees will have options related to
instructional materials adoption and in these extremely tight economic times,
these elected leaders need all the flexibility they can muster to provide
quality education.  Adoption of HB 4294 can transform teaching and
learning.   Thank goodness for legislators and school administrators
with vision and courage to lead on behalf of Texas schoolchildren today and tomorrow.
